Inspiration for the Spirit

A lovely place to wander for poetry and inspiration to soothe the soul

Three Foxes

by Patricia Petro

original artwork by Dennis Janke

Three foxes were singing
a quaint minstrel’s tune
while a wolf stood glaring
behind a gold ruin

But music has ways
—mysterious and sweet—
and even the beast
was soon on his feet

Dancing and prancing
to the rollicking beat
under the midnight moon
