Inspiration for the Spirit

A lovely place to wander for poetry and inspiration to soothe the soul

Robert Frost

Robert FrostRobert Frost (1874-1963) was an American poet, highly regarded for his realistic depictions of rural life and his command of American colloquial speech. Popular and often quoted, Frost was honored frequently during his lifetime and awarded the Pulitzer Prize for Poetry four times. Poet and critic Randall Jarrell often praised Frost's work and wrote: "Frost's virtues are extraordinary. No other living poet has written so well about the actions of ordinary men. His wonderful dramatic monologues or dramatic scenes come out of a knowledge of people that few poets have had, and they are written in a verse that uses, sometimes with absolute mastery, the rhythms of actual speech."

“In three words I can sum up everything I've learned about life: it goes on.” —Robert Frost
