Inspiration for the Spirit

A lovely place to wander for poetry and inspiration to soothe the soul

lettersOne of the first things you discover when you put an inspirational website online, is that a lot of people will write to you. Many of the letters I receive are complimentary, praising the website and its content. Some are more specific, mentioning a section of the site or a poem the writer especially likes. Still others are intensely raw and personal from people who feel comfortable enough to confide and share their private thoughts and feelings. Mail is always welcome. I feel fortunate that there are so many interesting individuals who not only visit Inspiration for the Spirit, but also take the time to write.

Peace and Love always,
Patricia

I love your web home! Everything is beautiful inside & out. My favorite place is Christmas in Cleveland (hint hint)! I will definitely flutter my faerie wings through here many a time! *Hugs*

    Dear Patricia:
Thank you for the response to my earlier comments. It is an amazing journey to “quiet one’s soul” after the loss of the “one who found you!” I keep thinking I see my mother and have a hunch I do.
    Peace and harmony,
    Gayle

I have a new post on my blog called A Christmas Lost. It’s kind of dark, but it’s what I’m going through right now. I was kicked out of my place last Christmas day, and Christmas invokes some bad memories. Don’t worry about me, though. I’ll get through this. This is the path I must take. I promise to write something happier soon!

Translation: I would like to work, find myself a new job that I can enjoy. It seems though that I do not know at the moment what type of job I should look for. I feel like I am floating around, not having my both legs firmly on the ground to enable me to make the right choice.

The special adoption page your webmaster created is stunning. Very very nice…as is your whole site…and I was surprised and pleased beyond words to see that you dedicated the page to me. Thank you so very much.

However…regrettably, I am not the talented artist who created the graphic. That honor goes to Siobhan Kite of Lillyskite. I merely purchased the graphic from her for my adoption shoppe; and, since I cannot honestly claim credit for its design, must ask that you give the credit to Siobhan.

I’m sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. I love the page and sincerely appreciate your thinking of me in such a special way; but it’s OK if you want to make a change and dedicate the page to Siobhan instead. She’s an amazing artist who’s definitely worthy of the honor.

      Peace and blessings,
      Patricia

I am deeply moved by your words. Please know you have my heartfelt sympathy. When my mom died, I, too, felt a profound sense of loss. I didn’t think I would ever get over it. We do heal eventually, but it takes time. Be gentle with yourself. You’ll be in my thoughts and prayers. Write again if you feel the need.
      Take care,
      Patricia

    Hi Patricia!
I love your beautiful site. So much to read and so warm. The graphics is lovely. I have your site under favorites now. The name Summersong’s … is music for my ear. I am so happy that I found your site. Take care.
