My Poems

Patricia PetroPatricia Petro is me, myself, and I—the creator of Inspiration for the Spirit, a published writer and poet, aspiring novelist, lifestyle blogger, and web designer. I dabble in just about everything creative, work fulltime, travel when I can, read a lot, laugh often, love passionately, and live intentionally in a cozy little house on a small lake in Northwest Ohio with my husband, Tom, and our Schnauzer pup, Lucy.

“Writing poems is not easy for me. Words get caught on the tip of my brain refusing to reveal themselves. Sometimes I need to tap into my very soul and draw blood to find the way that best articulates what I am truly feeling.” —Patricia Petro

or it’s long black dipped in burgundy
like a painter’s brush
and still called red … Read more
