Asi se Baila (That’s Dancing)
by Terry Stephen Driscoll

A night that brings,
Flamenco strings,
Of rhythmic home-bred Gypsy kings,
About the scent’ of lemon groves,
Paellas steam on village stoves

Hemlines flick,
As dancers kick,
Castanets of rosewood click,
Fingers sculpting shapes in air,
Flowers complimenting hair

Flaming dresses,
Jet-black tresses,
Striking cherry lipped Contessas,
Feet of dancing colours thrill,
As wine from lips of passion spill.
