“What if you slept?
And what if in your sleep, you dreamed? . . . And what if in your dream, you went to heaven, and there you plucked a strange and beautiful flower? . . . And what if when you awoke, you had the flower
in your hand?”
—Samuel Taylor Coleridge

“We all strive to surround ourselves with positive energy,
and nature is a powerful and proven tonic . . . when we are surrounded by nature, our emotions are calmed and harmonized. Anyone can let Vitamin F
(for Flowers) fortify their home, whether it’s a refuge, haven, retreat, or sanctuary. We need and deserve simple ways of creating homes where we feel happy and harmonious
by disconnecting from the hectic pace of the world outside. Flowers are a wonderful way to ease the stress of everyday life and refocus our emotions more constructively.” —Jayme Barrett
In Roman mythology, Flora was a goddess of the season of spring. Her festival, the Floralia, was held in late April or early May. The festival symbolized the renewal of the cycle of life and was joyfully celebrated with dancing, drinking, and flowers.
