Golden Sounds
“Music . . . when soft voices die . . . vibrates in the memory.” —Percy Bysshe Shelley

—Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
Celtic Woman has won over audiences of all ages and captivated millions with inspiring songs of hope and love. Their concerts are uplifting and pure magic. It is awe-inspiring to listen to the extraordinary range and clarity of their voices; and fiddle player Máiréad Nesbitt’s dancing onstage is exhilarating, joyful, and exciting to watch. Songs are an enchanting mix of traditional Irish fare, contemporary favorites, and original works by creative musical director/pianist David Downes.
Original members of Celtic Woman [left to right]: Méav Ní Mhaolchatha, Máiréad Nesbitt (fiddler), Órla Fallon, Chloë Agnew, and Lisa Kelly. Hayley Westenra (not in the photo, but featured in the videos in this section) joined the group in 2006. Since then, Celtic Woman has evolved with new vocalists replacing those who moved on to pursue solo careers.
